2008 Sherry left the industry to pursue a career in the resort industry where she worked her way up to Director of Sales at the Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk NC, thus making her dream of returning to the High Country a reality. In the resort industry, Sherry won many top producer awards both in sales and management. In 2012 Sherry led a team of Sales Reps that traveled the US allowing her to see and take advantage of this amazing country. Sherry enjoyed the adventures and seeing all of the wonderful places but says she was always excited to get back to the beautiful mountains of NC. Sherry's passion is traveling and she has enjoyed visiting some places such as Hawaii, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic ,Bermuda, St John, Mexico, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Sailing adventures in the BVIs and many other destinations. " I love experiencing many different places but I can't imagine living anywhere else in the world other than the High Country of NC." Sherry has now decided to re-enter the Real Estate industry this time as an associate broker with Blowing Rock Properties.  "My hope is to share my love and enthusiasm of the High Country and all it has to offer." With a true zest for life, some of Sherry's interests include traveling, entertaining, whitewater rafting, boating, wine tastings, festivals, concerts, ASU tailgating, and football games, skydiving and anything that promotes fun and laughter.
