 Gwen loves God’s creation of the Appalachian Mountains and is grateful to live in one of the most special places on earth. Gwen, Jim and their Cairn terrier, Daisy, take many hikes throughout the area and enjoy the abounding beauty.
The Steeles belong to First Baptist Church, the Blowing Rock Historical Society, and BRAHM. Gwen earned the GRI designation (held by only 12 % of NC Realtors), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). She has obtained the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation, held by less than 4% of Realtors nationally. In 2011 she completed the courses for the Certified Short Sale Seller (CSSS) designation to help clients with distressed properties.
